Sign the petition “15andcounting”

15andcountingSexual rights for all – sign the petition “15andcounting and demand better access to sexual health services and education for everyone, regardless of your age, gender or where you live.

15andcounting is IPPF campaign to get governments to fulfil the promises they made in 1994 at the International Conference on Population and Development.

What is 15andCounting?

Too often there is a wall of silence surrounding the issues of sex, sexuality and reproduction, especially for young people. This puts the health, wellbeing and even the lives of young people at risk.

Fifteen years ago at the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in Cairo, 179 governments agreed an inspiring and visionary plan to give universal access to services and information to improve the sexual and reproductive health of everyone by 2015. It is time to keep promises.

What to ask to your representatives?

  • 15andCounting is calling on governments to meet their commitments on sexual and reproductive health.
  • 15andCounting will campaign to achieve better access to sexual and reproductive health services and education regardless of age, gender or where people live.
  • 15andCounting seeks to highlight the specific needs of young people who will be most affected by the failure or success to deliver these services.
  • 15andCounting aims to connect and partner with young people around the world to collectively advocate for change and share experiences.
